Repentance turns adulterers into saints

By faith the harlot Rahab did not perish with those who did not believe, when she had received the spies with peace. (Hebrews 11: 31). By repentance Rahab was transformed from a sinful woman to a servant woman whose bless is offered to all humanity!

HG Bishop Pachomius, the former acting Patriarch, in his article ‘the harlot Rahab’ describes how Rahab’s life was changed and used to change many other people and to save many lives including hers.

God acceptance of Rahab refers to His acceptance to everybody, even the sinners. She decided to help men of God and was promised to be saved and her sign was the scarlet rope, which refers to the blood of Jesus Christ shed for humanity. Her work and belief saved her to proof that salvation comes with belief and work as well.

Rahab left her old life and stayed among the people of God and her wisdom was better than many other wise people to prove the power of God to save our souls.
