The official spokesperson of the Coptic Orthodox Church published a video clip showing the efforts of the Bishopric of Services to support the Egyptian people during the Corona pandemic.
Evelyn Boutros, a consultant for program development at the Bishopric of Public, Social and Ecumenical Services, said that several services were offered according to the directives of Pope Tawadros and Bishop Julius of public and social services to the poor and marginalized communities that the episcopate serves. The services included providing food, clothes sanitizers, and masks for the poor as well as medical clothing and equipment for medical staff. They also included raising awareness campaigns to avoid infection with the virus.
