Zamalek held by Gouna at home

CAIRO - Zamalek were held at home to a 1-1 draw with a stubborn Gouna side in the Egyptian Premier League on Monday night. The Whites won four points from their first three games, conceding five goals in the process.

After vowing to bring silverware to the club this season, coach Hossam Hassan saw his team kick off the season with a different start than the one had in mind.

Striker Amr Zaki played alone upfront, with Shikabala and Hussein Yasser in support and Ivorian Abou Kone dropping to the bench.

Ghana's Rahim Ayew included in the squad for the first time.
