Ahly midfielder Amr El-Sulaya has been cleared for the game against Zamalek in the Cairo derby set for Saturday after recovering from a torn ankle injury, the Red devils physician Khaled Mahmoud said on Monday.
The Red Devils are preparing to face their arch-rivals Zamalek in the 4th matchday of the Egyptian Premier League over the weekend.
The 30-year-old international had sustained the ankle injury during the Red Devils 5-1 win over newly promoted Aswan last week.
"El-Sulaya participated in the team s latest trainings ... he has fully recovered from the injury," the Ahly physician added.
Ahly have had a blistering start to the new Egyptian Premier League season, cruising to the top of the league table with the maximum nine points from their first three games.
The team, who are eyeing a fifth straight league crown, are two points ahead of Zamalek and Pyramids.
