Liverpool will come back stronger and fight for the Premier League title again next season, Egypt star Mohamed Salah said on Sunday.
The Reds missed out on their first title in 29 years despite amassing 97 points and losing only once all season, with Manchester City piping them to the prestigious accolade by one point.
"We did everything this season, we only lost one game. We got 97 points," Salah told Sky Sports after Liverpool defeated Wolverhampton Wanderers 2-0 on the final day of the season at Anfield.
"I say congratulations to Manchester City and we will fight again next season for this trophy."
Salah finished as the Premier League s joint top scorer with 22 goals, on level with Liverpool teammate Sadio Mane and Arsenal s Gabonese striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
He will have a chance to win his first title with Liverpool when they meet Tottenham Hotspur in an anticipated all-English European Champions League final on 1 June.
