St. George Cathedral in West Nile neighborhood in Beni Suef is ready to be inaugurated by Pope Tawadros II during his visit to the governorate next Wednesday.
Father Abanoub Sobhy, priest of the cathedral told Copts United that building of the church started in 1999, and Pope Tawadros is going to inaugurate it after it is completed and will host 2000 people, which makes it one of the biggest churches in the governorate.
