North Sinai security services thwarted an armed attack against two checkpoints in Sheikh Zuwaid city on Wednesday.
Security sources told Al-Masry Al-Youm that “an armed group attacked two security checkpoints in the area of Morabaa Nagd in Sheikh Zuwaid city. A fire exchange occurred between the armed persons and security troops, who were able to confront them, leaving 10 terrorists killed, two cars and two motorbikes destroyed.”
Speaking on condition of anonymity, the sources added that the fire exchange also left Abdel Rahman Ayesh, 29, first lieutenant injured in the right hand.
