Foreign Minister Sameh Shouky phoned his UK counterpart Boris Johnson Tuesday on the resumption of suspended UK flights to Egypt’s Sharm el Sheikh Airport, Youm7 reported a statement from the Egyptian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Ahmed Abu Zeid.
Britain and a number of European countries have imposed an aviation ban on Sharm el Sheikh Airport following the crash of the Russian plane, which was downed over Central Sinai 20 minutes after taking off from Sharm el Sheikh Airport, claiming lives of more than 220 passengers on board.
