Dr. Shawki Allam, Mufti of Egypt, traveled to Germany in response to an invitation from the United Nations and Bonn University to talk about Islam and the future of dialogue between religions and civilizations.
The lectures will be attended by 500 students is considered the beginning of several visits to international universities in order to correct the image of Islam all over the world, advisor of the Mufti said.
This comes to confront the phenomenon of Islamophobia and the increasing hostility and intolerance against Muslims in Europe.
