Bishop Jeremiah: A Coptic nun was shot dead in Cairo

The official page of Anba Jeremiah, head of the Coptic Orthodox Cultural Center, announced the death of sister Athanasia, a nun of St. George monastery in ancient Egypt.

The nun was shot dead in her way to the monastery of St. George in Khatatba.
