Cairo Criminal Court has released Photojournalist Esraa el-Taweel, who has been in remand for more than 160 days over charges of belonging to unlawful organization, Youm7 reported Saturday.
Taweel, who is a 23yr-old amateur photojournalist, was arrested in June, and faces charges of belonging to unlawful organization, (the Muslim Brotherhood) and spreading “false news to disrupt national unity.”
Her detention has been renewed pending investigation over the period without standing trial.
