Abba Bachum, Bishop of Sohag, told Copts United that the Copts are suffering from inside and outside wars and terrorism aiming to destroy their unity and get the church involved in internal conflicts.
He explained that some websites are spreading false information that may harm the church in order to achieve electoral benefits.
He added that the Church doesn’t support certain candidate against another, and its leaders stand at the same distance from everyone.
