The Perfect Length (Part ll)
As I was saying last week, Sisi has the monumental task of building Egypt up without any solid ground, without any frame, without the knowledge of concrete. There is nobody to guide him in the right direction. On the contrary all he has are people opposing him, people causing destruction, nature causing strain.

Any smart person who wants to build a house, or build a country, would realize that he doesn’t know the steps involved, and have to hire professionals. Of course, these professionals need to be sincere and honest, and not corrupt. That is a whole different story.

So Sisi needs to gather a group of experienced people in running a country and build Egypt up.

I believe until now, Sisi is faced with groups getting in his way, causing his people suffering, causing chaos. Sisi’s first step is getting the people to calm down, and for the economy to return to normal, daily activities.

Then, and only then, can he work together with others to put plans in place to boost Egypt back up. He needs to make sure he builds a good, strong frame for the country, and then he can create the concrete that will shape what Egypt will become. After that, perhaps he will be ready to deal with decorating Egypt and creating the image that it used to be.

How long will of this take? Let’s see. It’s been almost 3 years since the revolution, and we are probably at the lowest point. Churches, buses, electrical hubs, metros and roads are being destroyed. How much worse can it be? Maybe a little more worse.

I say it takes 1 more year for the Muslim Brotherhood to all collectively be put back in jail. Maybe 1 more year for the people to recover from the trauma of the Muslim Brotherhood. Maybe 1 more year to start repairing all the damage.  Also then 1 more year for the Egyptians to have their faith restored in their country.

Honestly speaking, I believe if Sisi is strong, and can handle the challenge in front of him without becoming corrupt or giving up, that after 5 years we will see a completely different Egypt, and for the better.
