Dr. Shawki Allam, the Egyptian Mufti, said that the Fatwa House follows the moderate teachings of Al-Azhar that many people in Egypt do trust.
He added that Islam doesn't support terrorism and refuses forced displacement and hurting people denouncing what's happening in Iraq by terrorist organizations like Daash.
The Mufti said that many young people misunderstand Jihad, as true Jihad means to fill the earth with life and to make prosperous.
He called Christians to continue working for the good of the homeland and to stand against all attempts to divide the nation or to seek sedition
