Pope Tawadros II, Pope of Alexandria and Patriarch of St. Mark See, visited Al-Azhar on Wednesday with a delegation from the Coptic Orthodox church to congratulate the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar Sheikh Ahmed al-Tayeb on Eid al-Fitr.
The delegation included: Bishop Morcos of Shubra Al Khaimah, Bishop Youannis , Bishop Jeremiah, Father Angelos Isaac, secretary of the Pope, Father Ammonius Adel, secretary of the Pope, Father Polous Halim, spokesperson of the Church.
