Abba Rafael, Secretary of the Holy Synod, received today delegation of the European Parliament headed by Mr. "Mario David," Chairman of the Committee of the European Parliament.
He told the delegation that what happened in June 30 was a revolution and not a military coup. What happens in Iraq gives us an example for how a fanatic rule may affect the religious minorities in a country.
Abba Rafael invited the European Parliament to give a helping hand to Egypt and support its development.
