Naguib Gebrael, head of the Egyptian Federation for Human Rights, EFHR, said that kidnapping Coptic adults has increased a lot since the revolution of June 30.
He added that the organization has documented 32 cases in Minya, 19 in Suhag and 6 cases in Luxor, in which huge ransoms were paid to free the victims.
Gebrael added that the ministry of interiors had promised to exert more effort to arrested the criminals and to protect the Copts.
