Interim President Adly Mansour accepted the resignation of Hazem al-Beblawy’s government, which was submitted earlier Monday.
In a presidential release, Mansour thanked Beblawy for assuming the role of Prime Minister, saying, “The Presidency expresses its deep appreciation to Beblawy and the members of the government for the efforts they exerted during the period , whereby they assumed responsibility at a critical phase, and it wishes them all the success in their path.”
Hazem al-Beblawy announced in a press conference on Monday that he has submitted his official resignation, and as such that of his Cabinet.
