CAIRO: The Egyptian people are unable to reclaim Mubaraks’ “looted” funds due to a recent Swiss government decision to renew the freeze 700 million franks, said constitutional jurist Essam al-Islamboly.
He told Youm7 that the court “slacked” with the issue, and failed to grant the funds a status which would allow Egypt to reclaim the money.
The constitutional jurist added that the loans of Brotherhood and Salafists are different from Mubarak’s funds, since most of the Brotherhood’s money was not smuggled abroad.
