CAIRO: The referendum on the new constitution draft will take place during the second week of January 2014, spokesperson of the 50-member committee Mohamed Salmawy said on Sunday.
During the Administrative Development Associations Union symposium about the societal participation in political life after the January 25 Revolution and the June 30 Demonstration, Salmawy said everybody should unite and confront the problems in the different fields.
He said Egyptian culture is a multi-dimensional, with Arabic, Egyptian, Islamic, and humanitarian culture, and it cannot be limited to one faction in the political scene.
